Download sites
In order to find the newest releases of anime and mangas from all the
fan-groups there are lots of sites who update their list and download link
archives several times a day. I have listed and explained some of the best
ones here.
Tokyo Toshokan:
http://tokyotosho.info/
This is in my opinion the best webpage that lists bittorrent releases
of anime fansubs and lots of more Japanese media. Its simple design is
compensated by a fairly large community that uploads links to just about
all new fansub releases there are in all different languages and formats
they come with. In addition there are also Japanese music, TV dramas, hentai,
games and movies listed. However, if you are looking for manga translations/scanlations
this isn’t the ideal place, as most manga don’t have bittorrent releases.
As for manga I suggest mangaupdates.com which I`m also introducing below.

3) Search by name.
4) Link to the fan-groups webpage or info page.
5) Tracker information about seeds, leeches and so on.
Baka-Updates:
http://baka-updates.com/
Bakaupdates lists most English anime fansubs that feature a bittorrent
download. It also features a small reference to the fan-groups who created
a certain fansub and the amount of seeders and lechers is shown. Releases
of episodes taken from official English DVD releases are also listed, but
their download link is not shown.

2) Search for English fansub releases by name or fan-group name.
3) Click here to add a file to your bittorrent download list.
4) See the amount of leechers and seeders (registration required).
5) Name of the fan-group and link to a small reference of them.
6) Name of the anime and episode number.

1) Fan-group name.
2) Direct link that starts your mIRC and joins their channel.
3) Link to the official site of this fan-group.
Baka-Updates-Manga:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/
This site is the manga scanlation counterpart of Bakaupdates. Still
there are few differences like being able to search manga series by author
or genre, having releases listed that do not have any bittorrent download
and seeing a review and basic information about a manga series by clicking
on the title.

Navigation is similar to that of Bakaupdates and you will see the same
window by clicking on a group’s name. However, it`s more important here
as you often have to visit the scanlation group`s homepage to download
their releases.
Manganews:
http://www.manganews.net/
Yet another site that lists manga releases with background info and
nice features. Also features reliable manga news.
