Ergo Proxy – Anime Review
Review: Ergo Proxy takes place in a post-apocalyptical world. In this world there is an utopian city named Romdeau where people and robots live together peacefully. In this city there is not much space for feelings or individuality. Everyone wants to be a perfect citizen never doubting the system and doing his work properly. But this peaceful image is broken when mysterious murders occur. Real Mayar, a female inspector is tasked to solve the murder cases, but as she digs deeper she find frightening answers and even more frightening new questions. However she is not afraid to dig deeper for the truth and she won’t let anything get in her way, not even the upper authorities of the city.

This anime reminds me a lot of Dark city, it has great art a twisting plot combined with excellent character development and a unique story. I agree with its rating of 9.5. I wish they were going to make a second season.
