Fate/stay night – Anime Review

Review: Fate/stay night is based on a famous h-game by TYPE-MOON.
Emiya Shirou’s parents and many more people died in a huge fire when he was young. He was the only survivor and was adopted by an old man who claimed to be a sorcerer, but that man also died soon after this. Emiya Shirou is a high school student now. One day on his way home from school he gets himself involved in an old, secret and sacred war between sorcerers. It is a war that repeats itself over and over again where sorcerers fight for the possession of the Holy Grail, a relic said to grant its owner a wish. Sorcerers are able to summon Servants, the powerful spirits of heroes of mythology and let them fight against each other. Shirou has yet to find out about all of his abilities, about the rules and possibilities of this war, about all the other sorcerers and their servants, about the big fire he survived and about many more mysteries of the past and present.
