Rosario to Vampire Capu2 – Anime Review
Now that the summer is over, it’s time for Tsukune Aono and his friends to return to Yokai Academy. This season is set in the fall semester following the student’s freshman year. Upon returning to school, the Newspaper club member’s find much fan mail awaiting them, and one of Moka’s fans plans to kill her. These hilarious beginnings of a new school year set up the season with the introduction of a new character, and bring a much more relaxed feeling to season two. Many loyal fans might not be pleased with season two, when it breaks away from the manga after only the first episode. Viewer beware, this season is definitely rated Mature, featuring nudity throughout most of the season and much more strong language.
I admit, Rosario + Vampire Capu2 completely lived up to my expectations. Although it doesn’t follow the manga nearly as well as season one, it does offer up some of the best episodes of the series. The character development becomes much deeper, and the final few episodes are quite emotional, bringing out everyone’s true character.
Rating: 8/10

watta mess…can’t believe that this anime is going nowhere…I believe that it deserves a 10/10 score. With an interesting story, how can it be impossible that it couldn’t have its 3rd season…I signed my petition already at any websites that has a topic on it. Pity those who haven’t seen this anime. I hope that this comment helps for this anime to be continued for sure…

I’m sorry, but I felt the same way that you did until I read the manga. Now I want a complete OVA remake! The manga has a much better fights, plotline, and characters.

Yep. Kira, I agree completely. The manga may not be pushing towards harem/(who knows with whom) ending that the anime clearly chose, but dude, the manga is amazing. The difference in quality of: the storyline, action, Tsukune’s strength, character traits, is like the difference between Jigoku and Tengoku. For those who because of the numerous comments praising the manga will start reading:
The first season of the manga does not accomplish much. In fact, if you watched the anime, you should be quite caught up with what’s happening. The last 6 chapters of the first season are kind of pointless (so you can just skip those). Now, the second season (manga) is fantastic. It starts out a bit slow, but by chapter 20/60 (currently released) you will read non-stop.

“it does offer up some of the best episodes of the series.”
Yo, the guy who reviewed this anime. Apologize to Tsukune, Moka, and all the other members of Rosario to Vampire right now! That comment is 100% wrong. (Chigau baka!)
Anyways, the manga is much much better. To those poor souls who decide to watch this anime. Please! (if you watched the first season of the anime) just start with Rosario+Vampire II (manga). If you haven’t watched the series at all, just skip straight to the manga. The second season is absolutely fabulous.
Oh, and “The characters’ development becomes much deeper”… no, not at all. In fact, the character of Tsukune, Innermoka, Kokoa, and every other character is quite different.
As a mild spoiler to get you people to read the manga: Tsukune is not a weakling, in fact, he is not human… anymore. But he’s not a vampire as the anime portrayed him. To call him a vampire would be degrading 🙂

it is completely possible for a third season to occur, ive doing research day and night and found 2 more VERY important points that i will soon make a video on youtube. it will new so look for it,
the two recent points are,
1. Gonzo just announced a 5 million dollar profit last year from april-october 2012 and keep in mind capu3 was in production until the earthquake
2. I found out that gonzo made an anime calle “Last Exile” around 2002-2003 ish and in the begginning of 2011 almost 10 YEARS later, they announced last exile silver wing so why cant rosario come back

The first season was fairly decent the second was just horrible. Manga is the only way to go for something good for this series.
