Summer 2008 Anime List
This list is meant to provide an overview of all the Japanese new anime releases announced to air soon on Japanese television or to be released as anime DVD/Blu-Ray in the Summer 2008 season.
The seasons change, and so do anime shows. The anime summer season has just begun and this time it brought us a rather small amount of new anime series. Maybe there are still too many ongoing shows; I don’t know. However the previous season showed us that not the quantity but the quality counts, as it had plenty of shows, while the majority of them were only medicore and boring. Let’s hope we will get to see some rare gems this season. Shows that I look forward to are Ikkitousen Great Guardians, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, Sekirei and Zero no Tsukaima 3, but only time will tell what this season will be all about.
