Winter 2013 Anime List
This list is meant to provide an overview of all Winter 2012/2013 Season Japanese new anime releases announced to air soon on Japanese television or to be released as anime DVD/Blu-Ray.
If you see no further specified airing date information for an anime title than the year of release, then that means in most cases that the anime studios working on that title has announced their anime to be available on Japanese television or available in stores as DVD in the near future, while not giving any specific timeframe. In those cases we often have to wait between 3 and 12 month to see that anime.

Ecchi gets old easily. It’s always so tasteless. All it usually is excessive panty-shots and bouncing busts and nipples showing through clothes. A little sexuality here and there is great so long as it’s not overdone. But an entire series devoted to ecchi is dull and overdone. I like some seriousness to an anime and I’d love to take some characters seriously and that’s hard to do with their tits flying everywhere and nose-bleeds left and right.

My younger years included Shuffle among the list of shows I loved in that period of time.
Compared to today’s standard, it’ll just be your usual Harem with an actual ending, but the ecchi definitely made the show all the more lovable (No, I never saw the actual Hentai novel of it).
To-Love-Ru, Rosario+Vampire S1, Hayate no Gotoku and a long list of ecchi shows followed along the years, and if the ecchi elements did not exist, they were not the show they were (ESPECIALLY TO-LOVE-RU, I still follow that manga even up till this day).
So if you’re so offended by implementing sex appeal to animated shows then I don’t think you’re as mature as you attempt to express, infact, it’s quite the opposite.

guys ecchi is very similar to something i watched where the main charactor is visited by a cute soul reeper who asks to use his life energy to exist in the human world. I think anime is there for people to escape the mundane of every day and step into a world that breaks the rules and gives us a break from our own shitty realities. It is true that anime is getting wierd and is starting to lack the charm it use to have. No. I really don’t agree with you… I mean, there are boring animes that don’t have awesome plot or something but there are also AWESOME, AMAZING anime too! The recently released ones I mean. Like Durarara!!, K-Project, Karneval, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, Kuroko no Basuke and lots more.
But if you want to read something that has a little sexuality and hot stuff (less than ecchi) then you should DEFINITELY read works done by Minami Kanan. They’re AMAZING, it’s seriously cute and it could, kind of, happen in real life… Uhm… well it’s realistic enough though… especially Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu *O* and you should also check out Honey x Honey drops too ^^

It has way too much fanservice which the manga is lighter on, Tskune’s character was ruined, and season 2 was 90% filler with an ending leaving me going WTF! Unfortunately Gonzo has a history of screwing with their anime’s source material (The origenal Hellsing anime prove’s my point.)

The manga pretty much slowed to a halt since the writers are taking a multi month break after every issue and there isn’t enough out to warrant another season yes. It pains me greatly 🙁

HOTD will probably never receive a 2nd season (thankyfully) due to the poor sales on the first season in Japan, I personally will not miss. However my friends and I came up with a drinking game from it based on how poor the anime was, drink every time they do a panty shot to take peoples mind off the poor plot.

The truth is, its feb. 2013 now.. and they still haven’t remade or picked up Katakeyo hitman reborn nor d.gray-man nor provided any new for the remainder of the bleach anime (as the manga still hasn’t finished yet).. Which is TBCH so frickin retarded.. I actually was planning on using my well earned money to buy the complete series.. they were completly awesome while watching it. But the dumbass’s canceled it and completly ruined the story.. if your going along with an anime for such a long time, you AT LEAST expect a proper ending.. Now I dont give any shade of Sh!t about buying their products.. If they’d at least provide information as per, when blabla finishes we will continue in Blabla..

Apparently Deadman Wonderland S2 is unlikely because of poor reception in Japan, and the fact that the way they adapted the story from the manga makes it very difficult to go any further without leaving the manga storyline altogether, or at least mutilating it. I’m a bit annoyed about it, I would’ve liked to have seen the conclusion of that anime.

The series, if you think about it, didn’t continue very long chronologically past the TYL arc, where the anime ended. In numbers of chapters, sure, but considering actual events, really only two arcs. It’s doubtful it will happen. They probably thought the same thing the Bleach anime thought; end it at a good-ish point in the plot instead of navigating through some of the bad.

Accel World? SAO will probably get more spotlight, since their by the same creator and fans favor SAO’s ongoing novels over Accel World.
Highschool of the dead? Very likely, but you need to pay attention to the manga’s current situation first beforehand.

I agree with these except Fate/Prototype and Guilty Crown, I haven’t seen Guilty Crown but as for Fate/Prototype I looked at the preview thingo and it didn’t look as good as the other 2 Fate series in my opinion, Plus it wouldn’t make sense if Saber was suddenly a guy since they made it pretty clear that she is a girl, I think Accel World should get another season since SAO ended fans of the series will be pushed to watch Accel World which was made by the same person ,I agree it isn’t as good as SAO in my opinion but I stilled enjoyed it and found it harsh to ending it basically in the middle of the anime.
